Programs
May-June is when pollinator species return from migration or come out of hibernation and need locally-sourced nectar. Even small changes to minimize impacts on bees can make a big difference. By signing up, participants agree to reduce the amount they mow their lawns during May & early June. The city's goal is to "provide early season forage for emerging native pollinators by reducing lawn mowing frequency during a time where foraging resources are limited"
Note:
Please Pick up Slow the Mow Signs at the Tourist Information Center located in Paul Bunyan Park at 300 Paul Bunyan Drive.
Please return No Mow May Signs at the Tourist Information Center by June 23rd to be stored for next year.
