Although relatively small in overall acreage, Paul Bunyan and Library Parks together form one of the key community parks due to their prime locations along the lakefront, near the downtown business district, and along a major thoroughfare. Paul Bunyan Park features Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, Nimi Statue, Dock, Fishing Pier, Paul Bunyan Inclusive Playground, Rotary Pavilion, and a plaza area with picnic tables. Paved trails provide easy access within the park, but also connects to the Paul Bunyan State Trail, Diamond Point and the Dowtown via the Lake Shore Trail.
